Alain Laforest
About Me
Alain was born in Montreal, Canada but moved to the United States at a young age. He made his stage debut as the clock in a 1st grade school production of Cinderella. In high school Alain concentrated on art and eventually studied to be an illustrator at the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan. Years later the acting bug resurfaced and he began taking classes and performing with local theater groups appearing in productions such as A Man For All Seasons, Cyrano De Bergerac, The Blue Room and Arms And The Man. This led to television roles on The Path and Evil Lives Here as well as portraying James, The Store Manager in a series of commercials for Family Dollar stores. His voice has been heard in ads for the Connecticut Lottery and as a recurring cast member for the Fireside Mystery Theatre podcast. Currently he resides in Queens, NY with his wife and favorite acting partner, Kacie.
